Storyboard for the preliminary task

This is my storyboard for my preliminary task, I found this very useful to create because it allowed myself and the actors involved to refer back to it in case we were not sure of what to do next. I decided to do it in 'post-it-note' form as it was more original and showed the progression between the variation in camera shots.

  1. I like they way you have devised and carried out your storyboard it is very original and you can comprehend your intentions when you come to film the actual thing.

  2. Thank you Ellie, I'm glad my storyboard clearly portrays what I aim for my clip to look like on a whole. I just need to make sure that any dialogue is also illustrated on my storyboard for my horror trailer so it is easier for the actors when it comes to filming. As I didn't include my dialogue within my storyboard, I have written a script which will hopefully work as well.

  4. I love how you have filmed your storyboard! Did you find it easier to imagine your storyboard being able to watch it as a video?

    1. Thank you! Yes I believe it was easier to an extent, especially considering the post- it notes would have been easier to lose. However I don't think, there were many other positives for filming my story board other than the fact that it looks better and is easier for the actors I used for my preliminary task to understand what is going on.
